TUESDAY SLICE OF LIFE IS FOUND AT TWO WRITING TEACHERS
New class-New Learning. Lots of hours to try to get it right!
Please use this link to see my post today. I tried an experiment to see if I could embed the 'glog' into the post. It was either too big, or so small that no one could read the different pieces. But, I did learn again how to do Glogster. Other applications I'm working on are Evernote, Mindmeister and LiveBinder.
If you have a favorite read aloud-please share in the comments.
Thanks for your patience with a new idea!
Very cool! We created glogs in our social studies class last year - the kids were great at it, me?...not so much!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Read Aloud is when you close the book for the day and they are groaning 'Nooooooo!' and begging for more.
ReplyDeleteI've left a few titles on the Glog. Not sure what that is so I guess I will have to learn more.
ReplyDeleteThank you Elsie-I love the City Dog, Country Frog too, + Roald Dahl, and so on. There are so many to choose from, and for as many reasons!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing an example of your newly learned tech with us! I've been thinking of trying Glogs with my kids so it was fun to see yours! I use Evernote all the time to keep track of my favorite teaching resources and articles, as well as gift ideas for my family and other useful stuff. It's a great tool!
ReplyDeleteCool tech project. I posted some books, although it's hard to choose. I have favorites according to the season/ month. Fun.:)MaryHelen
ReplyDeleteFun! Glogster is like the techie version of a poster, right? I like the way the information gets chunked in that format. That is something I look for in a professional book: a visually friendly format that won't bog me down with too much straight text.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us to your Glog Linda. I have never created my own but I love the use of these in classes and bravo for your playing with tools,
ReplyDeleteBonnie
