Haiku Bunny

I wish I could write this was the rabbit in my poem, but it isn't. I do not have a camera good enough to capture the picture. Maybe someday? Anyway, apparently it has moved in. I see it every day. Time to find The Runaway Bunny (Margaret Wise Brown) or The Tale of Peter Rabbit (Beatrix Potter).

    1. Thanks, Diane. Unless they are frightened by something I'm not aware of, guess they're here to stay!

  2. I hope this one (and his family) won't feast on your car. They are cute, but not the best wildlife to have living close by.

    1. We need foxes desperately, Elsie. The coyotes have driven out the foxes, & they aren't fast enough to catch rabbits. Rabbits do what we know they do!!

  4. Your haiku is a fine home for your little fluffy-tailed bunny mate! Glad to see you're still on speaking terms despite all the wire-eating shenanigans from last year.

  5. "Rabbit repose" -- nice alliteration, Linda! We have a free range bunny who lives in our house (no cage) and my kids think he is the cutest thing in the world, especially when he sprawls out, which is something I have never seen from a bunny in the wild. I don't know if they are ever *that* relaxed!

    1. How wonderful is that, Tabatha. I keep watching this one, and you're right, I've never seen him relax. Perhaps at night? I'd love to hear the 'whole' story of your bunny sometime!
