On Sundays, Margaret Simon of Reflections On The Teche, hosts a meme where
people are sharing new tech or how they’re using tech with students: Digilit
Sunday. I learned so much on Sunday that I had to start a document list of all
the apps shared. Check it out if you’re interested, and/or join in to share. This is one of the apps shared by Kevin Hodgson (Kevin's Meandering Mind.) Last week we had snow, about six inches! Just tap on the screen to read each poem's lines.
And, do remember the Progressive Poem hosted by Irene Latham at Live Your Poem! The list and links are on the sidebar. Tabatha Yeatts is sharing the next line today.
6 inches of snow?!?! Oh my goodness! I like how you used tapestry to celebrate this crazy weather! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd now it's gone! It is crazy. Thanks Michelle.
DeleteCoooool! Off to get this app. We were in Vegas when MN got about 6 inches. Poor Maddie had to hand shovel:>)
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura, I hope that's the last of it, but cooler is coming this weekend again!
DeleteLove your great Haiku,
ReplyDeleteyour use of adumbration -
spring IS on the way!
You are dear, thank you!
Deletedid you notice the form of my comment?
DeleteI played with Tapestry today too. But at school, ugh, the pictures were blocked. What's a girl to do? Your image and poem are just what poetry should be, a moment frozen in time. Hope spring arrives soon. It is here in full bloom and pollen.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margaret. The leaves are coming, no snow now, but predicted again for Saturday-ups & downs. Hope you can work out the Tapestry problem.
DeleteLinda, I love it! I'm going to share this with the school where I've been in residence. They are looking for ways to deepen their teaching of haiku with the third graders.
ReplyDeleteTerrific, hope it helps. I just taught some 2nd and 3rd graders about fib poems today, Laura, using parts of your lessons!
DeleteI like the Tapestry app haven't used it before. Perfect April snow poem!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna. It's supposed to be 76 here tomorrow and then snow on Sunday! Maybe more snow haiku?
