It's Poetry Month, a pleasure to read so many wonderful poems and challenges throughout the poetry blogger world. My goal is to work hard to write haiku and haiku-related poetry every day this month. I am finding I'm more aware of the details surrounding every day.

I love that you're finding that your writing is making you more aware. I also love the phrase "that old tree and me." I feel connected to the trees too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz, I appreciate the response.
DeleteI am inspired by your haiku every day. I can relate to the bumps and bruises on the old tree.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay. I understand about those bumps and bruises too.
DeleteHow companionable these two are, "that old tree and me." Both have seen a lot, been through a lot. Still going!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tabatha, those connections. . .
