Here are my plans for #MustReadIn2018. I'll post the list above with others in recent years!
I’m keeping some books from last year, but in a separate list, hoping I will find time to read those I still don't want to miss! It’s hard to delete books, but they will stay on my shelves, waiting! This time I've noticed that many of the books are YA. Somehow I've slipped away from them and focused on those for younger kids. I want to read these YA that were so well reviewed last year, giving new looks at teen experiences.

DeleteAidan, my oldest, and I were looking at Scythe last night at the book store. (Because it is -8765 degrees here.) While it didn't come home with us, it will probably end up on a pile this year! Happy Reading! (P.S. I loved Solo!)

DeleteSo many wonderful books! I am still in the middle of several of these--started in 2017 and put down temporarily to read something else and never gotten back to, a bad habit. My first reading challenge of the year should probably be to finish up what I started last year!! I'm crowdsourcing my list again and will take one of the adult books from your list--I'm excited about both. Been meaning to read H Is for Hawk for a long time. And I really want to read more poetry in 2018.
ReplyDeleteI've stopped a few this year, too, just had to move on to others, I guess. I've had H Is For Hawk a long time & really wanted to read it, but. . . Now perhaps I will. I read lots of poetry but mostly for kids, so this one is a gift from my daughter, & I want to be sure to read it! Happy reading, Elisabeth!
DeleteWe have a couple of the same book on our lists, (Scythe, Posted, and Bright Sea) and several that I already own but didn't put on list, (90 Miles, Solo) but I loved Long Way Down and Scar Island is my favorite from Gemeinhart! Such goodness on this list! Happy Reading!
