April is #NPM18 - National Poetry Month.
There is not a particle of life which does not bear poetry within it. - Gustave Flaubert
Of interest: See the page on the bar above for the Progressive Poem's schedule of poets, hosted by Irene Latham at Live Your Poem.
And, see what many are doing for Poetry Month, by looking HERE at Jama Rattigan's post at Jama's Alphabet Soup.
My goal for Poetry Month: A haiku diary that may include other forms related to haiku, like haibun, haiga. monoku or renga. My first poem speaks of why I am handwriting the poems.

Poem Nine
I have been thinking about rain as it continues to deluge us here in Vancouver. At least there is no possibility of any kind of winter here.
ReplyDeleteHere is my poem for the day. http://dickenslibrary.blogspot.ca/2018/04/1130-poem-day-challenge.html
This was the strangest morning. We truly had all this plus snow for a little while. I wish we would have some of your rain, Cheriee!
Delete"Thirty minute winter"! If only that were true!
ReplyDeleteWe had our warmest day today, now cold is coming again Friday. It is a strange winter/spring for sure. Thanks, Glenda!
