April is #NPM18 - National Poetry Month.
"Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary."
~ Khalil Gibran
And, see what many are doing for Poetry Month, by looking HERE at Jama Rattigan's post at Jama's Alphabet Soup.
My goal for Poetry Month: A haiku diary that may include other forms related to haiku, like haibun, haiga. monoku or renga. My first poem speaks of why I am handwriting the poems.

Here is Poem Fifteen:
It's cold in Louisiana so I know it's cold in Denver. This is a winter that doesn't want to let go.
ReplyDeleteActually now it's warm again, though colder at night. Strange April.
DeleteIn the middle of cold weather it's hard to imagine wearing shorts. It's scary putting them on the first time in summer.
ReplyDeleteWe were so warm last Thursday that many had those tank tops and shorts on, then Friday & snow came. Weird ups and downs!
DeleteSpring has arrived here on the west coast of Canada (well for now at least) but winter still has it's grip on other parts of the country.
ReplyDeleteYep, so many changes in these past weeks!
