April is #NPM18 - National Poetry Month.
"Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary."
~ Khalil Gibran
And, see what many are doing for Poetry Month, by looking HERE at Jama Rattigan's post at Jama's Alphabet Soup.
My goal for Poetry Month: A haiku diary that may include other forms related to haiku, like haibun, haiga. monoku or renga. My first poem speaks of why I am handwriting the poems.

How absolutely delightful Linda! It was ok me a while today, but. Finally got something posted, and it is about a granddaughter too!
ReplyDeleteI just sat down at the computer again, Cheriee. Granddaughters are good things to write about. Ingrid and I had lots of fun reading and first, going to our favorite Indie bookstore. Thanks!
DeletePerfect evening. I miss my granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Glenda. I assume your granddaughter lives away in perhaps another state. I have a grandson far away too. Wish I could see him more often.
DeleteLove this! I shared a readaloud and songs with my great niece and nephew last night. Wondering what you and Ingrid were reading.
ReplyDeleteWe went to our favorite Tattered Cover and I bought her The Wild Robot and The Wild Robot Escapes (autographed!). We started The Wild Robot, but read some picture books, and a favorite is one I'm sharing tomorrow, Philip Stead's All The Animals Where I Live, just a beautiful story! Thanks, Ramona, how fun to spend that time with your niece and nephew.
