Poetry Friday - My Small Poem

It's Poetry Friday, and Anastasia Suen is hosting HERE at her blog. She's been writing what she calls "small poems" recently. I wonder what's in her pocket this week?
            Thanks for hosting, Anastasia!

Wishing all a December full of good celebrations, however you choose to celebrate. I hope our world will find a way toward peace this month, and bring blessings to all who are struggling.

I chose a small poem today!

  1. Your little opening word "now" jumped out at me...perhaps a nod to the pre-Halloween Christmas decor I spied in stores??? Thank you, Linda!

  6. Linda, your December concrete poem is adorable! The way you used color was something that I had not seen before in concrete poems (usually just black and white). Color adds a whole new dimension. Very creative!

  16. Linda, what a jammed packed weekend for the start of December but I am happy to settle in today. The quiet of morning lets me read in peace. I am in the decorate every corner mood but I had to start with disassembling my autumn collection to turn over the house to Christmas. Beautiful tidings of joy I send to you.

  17. Oops, my comment never made it to your post. How Odd! Linda, your poem comes right at the time that I am starting my usual "decorate every corner of my house "routine. This weekend was an extremely busy one with a dinner dance, visit to the garden centers' Santa read-in with my little grandgirls (one in a sling from a fractured collarbone), and a family dinner last night. I am so glad to be here this morning quietly reading PF posts. Thanks for the colorful and delightful poem to think about when I decorate today.

  19. Thank you, Bridget, Heidi & Carol. It felt like a fun thing to do for December's holidays! Carol, I have moderation turned on after three days. That's why you thought you'd lost your comment. I'm sorry for the fractured collarbone, yikes. So it begins with kids!
