You all know of Jone's idea, which began years ago of sending postcards for New Year wishes. This year, the Year of the Dragon, was a theme for some. Those I received were created with gorgeous art and special wishes for living the year! I am grateful to each of you for those lovely pieces that came in my mail! Thank you, Jone, Denise, Gail, Linda M., Margaret, Molly, Robyn, Michelle, Carol V., Tabatha, and Mary Lee. (You will need to click to enlarge in order to read some.)

I am a rich woman!
Thanks for being a faithful member of my poetry tribe! Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love these poetry postcard exchanges! Happy New Year again!
ReplyDeleteLike getting little pieces of love in the mail!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. Thanks for sharing these, Linda!
ReplyDeleteLinda, it is always so intersting to see how my poet friends showcase their trreasured postcard poem. Your layout is fabulous. Thank you for sharing my mail to you. I always enjoy our poetry chit chat. I hope the weather is mild by you. It seems so peaceful here that is hard to believe we will receive a storm tomorrow morning. The winter chill is on. I just turned on the fireplace and see the tree branches are doing a left-right dance as I sit here and read the PF posts.
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful postcards! Thank you for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for checking out my wonderful mail, some of it from you! I've been all over the place today, grabbing groceries and working a little at the bookstore while waitng for snow this afternoon. It's getting darker and darker, but nothing falls from the sky yet! Carol, I wish I had a fireplace, but I love that you're sitting by one! Keep cozy, everyone, no matter the weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all this poetry goodness, Linda! I enjoy seeing everyone's offerings.
ReplyDeleteThis annual exchange is such a bright spot in my year...I love the community of writing we all are a part of. It's generous and creative. Look at all the art in your post. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSO many riches here. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. I've loved each and every one I got in the exchange.

ReplyDeleteThanks again, everyone! We have snow today, postcard picture perfect outside! Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'll say it again -- it was a great year for postcards this year! I'm going to leave mine out for at least another month!
ReplyDeleteYes, mine are up (after the photos). Thanks, Mary Lee
DeleteI love seeing these poems and postcards and art bounce around from blog to blog. Thanks for sharing them. They're worth a second (third? fourth?) read!
ReplyDeleteAs Mary Lee writes above, on display and reading some again every day! Thanks, Laura!
DeleteLucky, lucky you ( and me and all of us)! I could barely believe the riches that came my way, and my mantel is festooned with dragons! Thanks for sharing some that I didn't receive, Linda.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure of a writing community we have!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi & Marcie. The mail treasures start our new year so beautifully. I am thankful for Jone's creation every year!
